Our Online Workouts, help you stay active and mobile from home. Join us to get moving, raise your heart rate and improve your balance and strength. These sessions use a variety of methods to keep you moving towards your goals.
Whilst taking part you will be given options to make the program of exercises easier or harder! should you choose.
Poles not necessary but may be useful here and there, other things that may be useful are a bath towel, small weights, resistance bands and a chair.

Your booking confirmation email contains the link to the new WALX/NWUK Virtual sessions Log in Page.
When you click through you log in with the same login and password as your Exercise Anywhere booking system.
When logged in you will see your booked session and simply click on the join button by the booked session.
If your device or internet browser doesn't support the new platform you will be invited to click and join via Zoom.Tips for using online coaching. The best angle for me to coach you isn`t straight on or to the side, a diagonal view is the best of both worlds meaning we can see you partly from the side and front. Make sure your device is fully charged before the session. Others have found it useful to wear wireless headphones (don`t worry if you don`t have them) as then you can hear each other better. Make sure you wear appropriate footwear and clothing just as you would to an indoor gym session or outside if you`re in the garden! Ask others to play that internet game / netflix etc. afterwards so your screen doesn`t keep freezing Don’t have the heating on too high before sessions, it’s a lot warmer in a house than outside! Be more cautious if improvising with any items of kit as they may not behave as you’d expect. Make sure you have enough space, no loose mats underfoot, no light fittings above you, move valuable ornaments out of the way in case you kick one, it may be worth opening a window or door a little bit. Practice moving your phone / laptop around to see where your best view is and where it show your feet and arms.
