Walk Description:

From one hour WALX in your local country park to a half day in the hills, our Explorer WALX capture the variety of scenery, themes and types of WALX that suit your lifestyle. If you love WALX to the pub or WALX with the dog or simply WALX in wild locations we have them all! Whether long, short, tough or gentle we welcome all ages and all levels.

Todays walk: The walk will take us over to the K&A canal and then down towards Freemans Marsh and then over the railway to Standen manor and then back.

Notes: Starts at the layby between Hungerford and Froxfield on RHS. I will speak to Cobbs Farm again and see if we can start the walk there.

Leader: This walk is led by Sally. There is another walk led by Ashley just before and we will stagger the start to observe lockdown numbers and social distancing.

Length and Grade: 5 miles - a few hills

Location: Starts at the layby between Hungerford and Froxfield on RHS. I will speak to Cobbs Farm again and see if we can start the walk there.

Notes: No coffee stops or toilets.

You could also bring your own coffee/snack to enjoy after the walk.

Bring water and a snack as this is a longer walk and it may be hot.

Note: To participate in regular Nordic WALX, you must have completed our Nordic Freedom Course.

Please note that we have limited this activity to five people for the moment. If you get a notficiation you are on a waiting list - I will contact you to see if you would like an alternative date.

You must re-visit your PARQ and answer all questions including decalrations on COVID 19. Please bring your own equipement or if you need to borrow poles you will be provided with Activator strapless poles which are much easier to clean.

All activities will respect social distancing guidelines of 2 metres apart.

You can wear a mask if you would prefer to but this is not mandatory.
