This rural walk rich in wildlife will offer a gentle warm up in an open green space. This short course will help you to not only learn Nordic walking technique but will help you to use it in order to achieve your personal health and fitness goals. learn how to Nordic walk for fitness, weight loss or fun! You will experience the joy of walking with poles as it is less stressful on the joints, it makes you walk faster with very little extra effort, it works your upper body as well as the legs. The result being more effective fat burning, stronger core and toning of the upper body as well as the legs. Part 1 covers strapless poles and gears 1 and 2 and posture.
You will also get the chance to try strapped poles to see which suit you best. On completion of Power of Poles 1 you can join us on our regular walks and Portsdown Hill has a varied terrain therefore is a great venue for mastering the art of Nordic Walking.
With views across Portsmouth and the Solent this venue is sure to set you up for the rest of the day.
We will provide the poles WHICH WILL BE CLEANED PRIOR AND AFTER USE, Social distancing is adhered to.
