Walk Description:

A delightful walk through fields and meadows. Great area for Nordic walking as the farmer has cut the fields, so plenty of opportunities to stride out if you want. We pass through a few woods, see and hear plenty of sheep but otherwise very quiet and tranquil.

We go through the delightful village of Bradley along a quiet country lane and eventually cross over an airfield, but there will be no planes flying on that day.

Although it is classed as a moderate walk this is only because of the distance which is just short of five miles.

This walk will be paced at gear 2 for the majority.

There are a few up and down fields, tracks, trails towards the end of the walk.

Minimal stiles, only two.

Bring some refreshments and a flask for when we finish the walk or we can stop en route if people want.

Distance 5 miles.

Grade Moderate

Allow 2 1/2 hours

Lowest 483.55ft

Highest 681.21ft

Total Ascent 472.72ft
