Walk Description:

Everards Meadows provides 70 acres of beautiful green space to explore, with quality cycling and pedestrian walkways. The venue links to other open spaces to provide a variety of walks and activities.

This Wellness Walx is a gentle activity that incorporates balance work, flexibility and strength exercises and maybe a bit of tai chi or relaxation too. Great for those who are getting back into exercise, have a health condition or simply want to move well and be fit for life! Our wellbeing Instructors are qualified to deliver WALX for all levels so it’s never too late to take that first step.

Meet: Everards Meadows Car Park (off Soar Valley Way or B4114 Narborough Road South). Free Parking for up to 3 hours. Number plate recognition on entry.

Pace: Steady, to suit the group. Walking poles are optional for this activity.

Terrain: This is a mixed terrain venue with paths of various different composition as well as undefined walkways across meadows. The towpath and some paths through Glen Parva Local Nature Reserve/Aylestone Holt Spinney could get muddy. Please wear clothing suitable for the weather conditions. The route may occasionally cross a stile.

Refreshments and toilets are available at Jenno's Coffee House. Please remember your mask if entering the Coffee House and adhere to their requirement for NHS Track and Trace.

Elevation: Negligible inclines.
