Walk Description:

An easy walk in three different settings within the Blandford area, starting either at the Milldown Reserve, the Stour Meadows car park or at Stourpaine car park. Please check the location to make sure where we will be meeting.

Meeting at the Milldown Nature Reserve car park you will be treated to the beautiful views of the local countryside and Bryanston school. We will be using various paths up in that area to keep everything interesting.

From the Stour Meadows car park, we get to walk beside the beautiful River Stour with all its Nature for your viewing including Herons, Kingfishers, Egrets, Ducks, Cormorants plus lots more and if we are really lucky the local family of Otters.

Stourpaine car park is near the village hall. We can go a couple of ways which links to the trail way. Sometimes we will go over to see Durweston mill on the River Stour. Which ever way we go it is a lovely peaceful area.
