Walk Description:
Have you received your Freedom Passport and want to get out with your poles? Welcome to the Nordic Strut! An activity dedicated to pole walkers. Meet like-minded people for a friendly, uplifting session around Everards Meadows and the surrounding Glen Parva Nature Reserve.
This session is suitable for people using both strapped and strapless poles. If you don't yet have your own poles, please enquire whether loan poles are available before booking.
Meet: Knighton Park Car Park (off Palmerston Way/A563 RingRoad). Free Parking.
Pace: Steady, to suit the group. This activity is exclusively for those who have been trained to walk using Nordic Poles it is not suitable for non-pole walkers.
Terrain: This is a mixed terrain venue with paths of various different composition as well as undefined walkways across meadows. Some paths could get muddy.
Refreshments are not available at this venue. Toilets may be closed due to coronavirus restrictions.
Elevation: Negligible inclines.

Participants are required to register and complete an online health questionnaire in advance. If you feel unwell between booking and joining the class, we ask you to err on the side of caution and cancel your booking.
