Walk Description:
Gentle WALX that incorporate balance work, flexibility and strength exercises and maybe a bit of relaxation too. Great for those who are getting back into exercise, have a health condition or simply want to move well and be fit for life! Our wellbeing Instructors are qualified to deliver WALX for all levels so it’s never too late to take that first step.
Parking: Great Glen Sports and Social Club car park off Bindleys Lane/Fordview Close (LE8 9FG)
Meet: adjacent to the tennis courts.
Pace: The pace will be steady, to suit the group. Walking poles are optional for this activity.
Terrain: The walk will take place on grassed playing fields and public footpaths/tracks. Wear sturdy trainers or boots (the grass can be slippery if wet), and clothing suitable for the weather conditions.
Refreshments are available at near-by Lou Lou's Tea Rooms. Please remember your mask if visiting the cafe and adhere to their requirement for NHS Track and Trace.
