Walk Description:
Take a hike in the beautiful North York Moors, one of the UK's national parks, the largest expanse of moorland in England, and a landscape that's existed since the Jurassic period. This hike walks along Sutton Bank to take in 'The Best View in England', dropping back into the valley below, to walk around the famously bottomless Gormire Lake. The steps back up to the White Horse are very steep, where we rest at top to gather our breath and watch gliders taking off. Otherwise the walk is either flat or downhill. The session includes a warm up, and information about the local area during the hike. Keep fit in a fun and adventurous way, make new friends, and learn more about the national park by joining us on our next Walx.
