Walk Description:

Setting off from the pretty village of Ellastone walking through pastures and past Wootton Hall to the Weaver Hills.

From here absolutely stunning views across Staffordshire and Derbyshire are seen. This walk then leads us to Wootton Lodge Park, this parkland is a must from the middle of May to see the fantastic display of brilliant colours of the azaleas, rhododendrons and bluebells that are in abundance on the route. We should also see the deer roaming around in the park.

The final leg of our walk takes us around the landscaped lake of the JCB testing ground where we may see some JCB’s going dizzy around the track.

This walk just keeps giving!
