A moderate 7 mile Circular walk around Godlingston heath and up to the famous Aggleston Rock
Starting at Studland, this moderate 7 mile Circular walk around Godlingston Heath and Aggleston is a must.
This is the largest expanse of unspoiled lowland heath surviving in Dorset, offering an important habitat to all six species of native British reptile, including the rare sand lizard and smooth snake.
Walking up to Agglestone Rock we will see some of our best views across Poole Harbour and the heath, before enjoying a lovely walk back to Studland.
Please bring a snack and a hot drink to have along the way if you wish and allow 3hrs for this walk.
Parking at the Bankes arms National Trust car park – Free parking for members.
The first section of this walk is on the road so please bring your PAWS Toilets and refreshments available In Studland if open
