Walk Description:

This is a delightful and scenic walk through Thorncombe Woods.

Suitable for all abilites with or without poles.

There is a wealth of wildlife – including resident Dartmoor ponies- and a varied range of mature trees and open scrubland from which, high up, there are magnificent views of the surrounding countryside with the Purbeck Hill’s in the distance. A walk not to be missed!

We will meet in car park, there is a charge of £1 to use the car park.

Throughout the walk we will be observing the social distancing as best as possible at all times.

Please note that there are no toilet facilities at this time.
