Walk Description:

We will begin in the village of Shapwick - admiring the lovely church and many pretty thatched cottages.  Then we will head through poppy fields, a farmyard and down grassy droves towards Tarrant Crawford, where we find another lovely church.  There'll be nice views on the way too.  As we loop back we will take time to see the river Stour and then walk through hay meadows back to Shapwick.  This is a beautiful countryside walk, some gentle inclines but no hills as such. Note there are no toilet facilities. Please allow 2.5 hours.
