Walk Description:

This is a delightful and scenic walk through Thorncombe Woods and Puddletown Forest leading us to Puddletown.

Suitable for competant walkers with or without poles as there are a few hills and 1 steep hill to go up.

There is a wealth of wildlife – including resident Dartmoor ponies- and a varied range of mature trees and open scrubland from which, high up, there are magnificent views of the surrounding countryside with the Purbeck Hill’s in the distance. A walk not to be missed!

We will meet in car park, there is a charge of £1 to use the car park.

Throughout the walk we will be observing the social distancing as best as possible at all times.

Please note that there are toilet facilities at the car park and the Cafe is currently serving takeaway food and drink.
