Walk Description:

EXPLORER WALX;

From one hour WALX in your local country park to a half day in the hills, our Explorer WALX capture the variety of scenery, themes and types of WALX that suit your lifestyle. If you love WALX to the pub or WALX with the dog or simply WALX in wild locations we have them all! Whether long, short, tough or gentle we welcome all ages and all levels.

BRAUNTON HERITAGE WALX;

We meet at the back of Tesco outside BRAUNTON GYM,  where we will warm up and set off either North or South on the old railway line. We may walk to the coast path and Velator Quay  and the footpaths across the Great Field or out through Wrafton to follow the  river valley towards Heanton Punchardon, or  the old water mill or we'll  head out beside Braunton Pill and Velator Creek. Alternatively we walk the footpath into the heart of old Braunton and make our way up onto Braunton Down or along the Caen River valley towards Knowle.  Every walk can  feel like a walk back in time when you carefully observe the signs of times gone by.

On our return we do a  cool down  with relaxing stretches and always have refreshments, either BYO or a takeaway coffee for a socially distanced chat.
