Walk Description:

From one hour WALX in your local country park to a half day in the hills, our Explorer WALX capture the variety of scenery, themes and types of WALX that suit your lifestyle. If you love WALX to the pub or WALX with the dog or simply WALX in wild locations we have them all! Whether long, short, tough or gentle we welcome all ages and all levels.

Todays walk: Today we start at Chisledon House Hotel for a 6 mile walk towards Coate Water. This is beautiful countryside with woods, open grassland and country park. There are some hills and undulations and there is a circular walkway over the M4 to cross to Coate Water Country Park.

Notes: Starts at the Chisledon House Hotel and we can have coffee there afterwards.

Leader: This walk is led by Sue Marsh

Length and Grade: 6 miles slightly undulating.

Notes: There are toilets at Coate Water and at the start.

Bring water and a hat as this is a longer walk and it may be hot.

You must re-visit your PARQ and answer all questions including decalrations on COVID 19. Please bring your own equipement or if you need to borrow poles you will be provided with Activator strapless poles which are much easier to clean.

All activities will respect social distancing guidelines of 2 metres apart.

You can wear a mask if you would prefer to but this is not mandatory.
