These WALX make every step count! Total Body walking™ is a unique mix of drills, strength exercises, the use of nordic walking poles and other innovative fitness walking kit to help target the upper body too. Delivered by our fully qualified Instructors who will plan WALX that work on all aspects of fitness and make the most of being Outdoors! Walking in and around the beautiful grounds and parkland at Attingham, and making the most of the natural environment around us.
Dress to suit the weather, including sun protection if necessary, and bring water.
Special Instructions for walking at Attingham Park:
You do not need to pre-book a slot with Attingham Park in addition to booking the walk, but you will need to identify yourself as a booked Nordic Walker - ie bring your booking confirmation email if possible. (I will also try to provide a list of names, but you may arrive before me, or they may mislay the list, so your confirmation is safest).
NT members should also show their membership card on entry.
Non-NT members should ask and pay for a £5 Active Pass on arrival for each session (or become members if they plan to walk regularly).
You will need a Facemask to access the toilets, cafe and shop.
You will need to be aware of social distancing measures put in place by the NT.
Photos may be taken during the walk for use on the WALX in the Marches website, on social media, and occasionally, shared more widely with WALX/Nordic Walking UK. If you are not happy for your image to be used in any of these ways, please let me know.
