Walk Description:

From one hour WALX in your local country park to a half day in the hills, our Explorer WALX capture the variety of scenery, themes and types of WALX that suit your lifestyle. If you love WALX to the pub or WALX with the dog or simply WALX in wild locations we have them all! Whether long, short, tough or gentle we welcome all ages and all levels.

Today`s Walk:  This is a new walk which is subject to change as we are still to check the route. Starting at White Hill Car Park near Kingsclere.

This walk is a longer walk and is open to non-polers. If you would like to try poles please contact me in advance to arrange to borrow some of our strapless activiator poles.

Length and Grade: An 8 mile walk with some ascents and descents.

Watership Down is just another lovely high spot on the Downs in Hamp- shire, but everyone knows it from the great modern classic by Richard Adams about rabbits. This walk begins with a walk on the Downs followed by a roam through the horse breeding and agricultural country with several surprises.

Location: Start at the car park at White Hill near Kingsclere.

Notes: There are facilites on this walk at Eccinswell and we may stop there half way round to visit the pub for a coffee/snack but please make sure you have drinks and snacks in case we don/t stop.

Please note walkers must observe current government guidelines for COVD-19 at time of the walk.
