Walk Description:

Sailing time from Bideford is 9.00am, but passengers are required to be at the quayside by 8.15am. Parking is currently at £3.50 for the day at the far end of the quay.

Arriving at Lundy around 11.00am we should have around 7+ hours to explore the island, before returning to the jetty around 18.00pm for the journey back. Arrival time in Bideford is 20.30pm.

I would suggest we each take a picnic lunch. 

The island is about 3 miles long, so if we get to the top of the island we shall be walking at least 6 miles, more likely 8+ given the terrain. Please be AWARE of the weather conditions on the day and wear appropiate footwear and clothing. Please also be aware there is a STEEP hill up from the jetty.
