Walk Description:

This walk is a 6 mile walk taking in the wonderful views of Nine Barrow, and Ballard Point.

We start at the National Trust car park in Corfe and walk up onto the Purbeck Way to walk the ridge, where there are lovely views of Poole Harbour and Swanage, we may even get a glimpse of the steam train!

We then descend to the Ulwell road and begin to climb the steps up to the Obelisk on Ballard down. This is a steep incline. We then descend into the village of Studland, finishing at The Bankes Arms.

Please bring PAWS as there are sections of pavement on this walk

Refreshments at the start and end of the walk.

Both car parks are National Trust - free for members

Toilets at the start and end of the walk

Please note: This is a linear walk and you will need to organise lifts home from Studland, however you have the option of a return walk back to Corfe via Old Harry Rocks, this will make the total walk around 14.5 miles.
