Walk Description:

We will meet outside the Warren House Inn along the B3212 between Moretonhampstead and Postbridge at 2.30pm

In a near circular walk we will make our way to the ancient Bronze Age village of Grimspound, hopefully visiting the Neolithic/Bronze Age Triple Stone Row on Challacombe Down along the way.

Once we leave Grimspound we will pick up the Two Moors Way and walk up Hookney Tor before making our way back.

Boots essential !

WEATHER  WARNING:   Dartmoor is not kind to walkers should the weather be bad and it is only April, so this walk could be cancelled if the conditions don't look safe.  24 hours notice will be given !

CAR  SHARING:   Given the distance to Dartmoor it is advisable to car share wherever possible, and once we know who is attending we will be in a better position to arrange this.
