Walk Description:
We will meet at the Sports Ground where free parking has been granted especially for us. The walk begins by walking to the village, then along country tracks through pretty countryside, past farms and orchards. Next we follow the stream into the lovely village of Dewlish where we will stop for our picnic lunch. Then we walk through the grounds of Dewlish House, with a close view of the manor, before heading uphill where we will be rewarded with nice views, before heading back down into Milborne St Andrew. This is a lovely walk, not to be missed, perfect for a summer's day! There are 3 inclines and 1 hill, but nothing too strenuous. Note: there are no toilets on route. Please come prepared for the day, especially if it is hot.
