Walk Description:

Join us for our NW session in Manor House Gardens and the surrounding area - we explore Blackheath, Cator Estate and Manor Park.

These sessions are for Lewisham residents and you must have completed a ‘Learn to NW’ course before joining these sessions.

We start in Manor House Gardens to stretch and warm up together. Then, we break into smaller groups with either the instructor or volunteer leader. We head off on a variety of routes depending on which smaller group you join. 

Each walk includes some pavement walking.  One route is through the pretty Cator Estate which is fairly level, with very little traffic . Another route is a stamina booster up and down quiet roads to Blackheath and out on the common for a while.  We also connect Manor House Gardens to Manor Park for a gentler route- the River Quaggy flows through both these parks.

All groups return to Manor House Gardens where there are toilets and a café – or bring your own drink and stay for the after walk social chat.
