Walk Description:

A special walk to start the Jubliee Weekend!

A favourite route of around 4.5 miles around the Martinsell Hill Fort. Returning after to enjoy some cake and a cup of tea to celebrate the jubliee.

Today`s Walk: Starting at the Clench Common car park we walk up to the west side of Martinsell Hill and then down past the famous tree to the Giants Grave. We retrace our steps and then follow the White Horse Trail and then return via Withy Copse to the start.

This is a general walk and is open to non-polers.

Length and Grade: A 4.5 mile walk with some elevation gain at the start. We can take this at the pace of the group.

Location: Start at the car park near Clench Common.

Picnic After: Please bring a chair or blanket and we can enjoy a cup of tea and a piece of cake after the walk. Cake will be provided but bring your own hot drink of preference and a special cup if you want to. Bunting is optional :-)
