Walk Description:

Join us for coffee!

Either meet at The Mill at 9.40 am to walk down to Douglas Eyre sports centre, or gather at Douglas Eyre ready to leave at 10 am.

We walk down Coppermill Lane, under Cattle Creep Bridge, across Walthamstow Marsh and over Coppermill Bridge to the Riverside cafe at the Lea Rowing Club.

We can sit and drink coffee and watch canal life before retracing our steps back to Douglas Eyre Sports Centre.

Buses 158, 212, 230, 275, 675, W11 and W12 stop at St James Street station, a short walk from The Mill at Coppermill Lane

Bus W12 Stops at Rensburg Road for Douglas Eyre Sports Centre

There is free car parking at Douglas Eyre Sports Centre or Walthamstow Marshes.

This walk is open to residents of Walthm Forest who have a Nordic Walking UK Freedom Passport.
