Walk Description:

A gentle paced walk of approximately 2 miles moving at a pace of 20+ min/mile.

Mostly a Gear 1 and Gear 2 walk over mixed terrain, including a range of functional exercises and Active 10 segments to ensure you get that heart pumping!

The gentle safe way to walk yourself fitter!

These walks include exercises that help with flexibility, balance and strength whilst using poles to improve general fitness and increase joint mobility.  Suitable for those who want to build up to the longer or more vigorous walks or may have concerns about their health.

If you need to hire poles, please message Tracy in advance. There is a £2 hire charge to the walk leader on the day and pole hire subject to availability

Sign up to our Direct Debit payment package to get access to unlimited walks, priority bookings and free training sessions.

CAR BOOT CAFÉ: After the walk, your walk leader will be providing a selection of hot and cold drinks, in return for a contribution to our nominated charity of the year, PAPYRUS: PREVENTION OF YOUNG SUICIDE.

If you like baking, please feel free to bring along some home baked goodies for everyone to enjoy too!

The following JustGiving page has been set up if you would prefer to contribute online:

You are free to cancel your booking using the booking system up to the start time of the walk.

Please bear in mind that the walk leader may have already left home and may not pick up a late cancellation in a timely manner.

If you are cancelling within an hour of the walk, please try to contact the walk leader personally to let them know you are not attending.

Please ensure your PARQ is up to date and you discuss any changes to your health or medication with your walk leader.

Please also ensure that you have any medication that you might need with you for the walk.

We would ask you to arrive at least 10 minutes before the start time of the walk so that you can get warmed up safely.
