Walk Description:

We love it here!

This walk truly is a FAB Thursday boost - approx an hour at moderate Gear 2 pace with Gear 3 options. Our walk will take us out through Eaton Park and across into the UEA with plenty of choices right from the start. These walks differ each week; from saying hello to the donkeys above the Yare Valley Marshes and circumnavigating the Broad to following routes along the Yare and visiting the often-missed Earlham Hall.  There’s so much to see on wide grassy paths.  No wonder we LOVE it here.

Enjoy the views, fresh air and company of the group while also being active outdoors.  These walks alter each week but will be approx 3 miles.

Please arrive promptly, at least 10mins before the walk is due to start, so that walks can start on time.

Walking Guidelines – please follow:

* All walks must be pre-booked online.

* Please DO NOT BOOK a walk if you currently have ANY Covid-19 symptoms, have had in the last 2 weeks or have received a positive Covid-19 test result. Contact Rebecca directly if you have any questions.

* If you need to sneeze or cough on a walk, PLEASE COVER YOUR NOSE OR MOUTH and turn away from others in the group – Good general hygiene practice anyway, no-one likes being sneezed on at ANY time!

We take the safety and wellbeing of our Walkers and Instructors very seriously at all times.  Face mask coverings ARE recommended for busy areas. it is recommended that all walkers carry a face mask with them at all times, just in case one is needed.

I`m sorry to say that we are NOT ABLE TO LOAN POLES at the moment, so you will need your own Nordic Walking poles or walk without.

Look out for ‘SHOP & DROP’ dates if you would like to purchase your own poles. UNLIMITED Group walks are FREE to Monthly DD members, all other walkers will be charged £7 p/hour. Stay Safe and please remember `Social Distancing DOES Save lives!

It is essential to register and book in advance online.

Cancelling a walk:

If you are unable to attend a walk, PLEASE cancel by 6pm the day before as there will undoubtedly be people eager to take your place.  24 hours notice will help everyone.
