Find the Spring In Your Step

We have finally moved into March, which means a lot for many of our walkers.  The weather is warmer, we can enjoy a longer day with more sunlight, and trees get their leaves back.  Flowers start to bud, and my favourite the lambs are born. There is a big shift in people’s energy as we find a spring in our step.

We may need to stay local for a little longer and remain in our bubbles, but that doesn’t mean we can’t enjoy the little joys of spring.

Nature can be found everywhere.  Whether you are enjoying a nature trail, beach or urban walk.  Nature can be found in all around.

Did you know?

  • Squirrels are responsible for planting thousands of trees each year as they forget where they planted their acorns.
  • Ducks love to ride the wave. Who knew a duck is a little surfer
  • A snail is capable of sleeping up to three years.
  • The ocean is home to 85% of all plant life.
  • An apple is made up of 25% air, that’s why they float.
  • Did you know a walk outdoors and noticing nature is a form of mindfulness and brings benefits to your mental health.

Here at Coast and Country we have picked our favourite flora and fauna  to look out for when you next go out on a walk.  Create your own scavenger hunt.
