“How do I know which walk is right for me?”

It’s a question we completely understand.

When you first look at the WALX Coast and Country programme, the amount of choice can be exciting – but perhaps a little daunting too! You might be wondering whether a walk will be too fast, too far or simply not right for you.

Please don’t let that uncertainty stop you from joining us.

Our walks are advertised well in advance, so there is always plenty of time to ask for advice before you book.

Every walk has a clear description and is labelled Easy, Moderate or Challenging, you’ll see this in the title. We also include the distance, duration and intensity, so you have a good idea of what to expect.

And we look out for you behind the scenes too. If a Walk Leader sees a name they don’t recognise on their list, they will check with me for any information that might help them support that person. We may even give you a quick call before the walk to make sure it’s suitable for you.

We want you to arrive feeling confident, comfortable and looking forward to joining in.

So if you’re looking at our programme and thinking, “I’d love to join, but I’m not sure where to start,” just give Denise a call or drop me an email. We can help you choose.
