We’re excited to announce that once again we’ll be running a week of walks this September, inviting WALX members from across the UK to join us.

Many return each year, creating a wonderful festival atmosphere. We offer a mix of our regular walks alongside some special events, supported by visiting Instructors and Tutors.

Most guests attend from Friday to Sunday (19th–21st September), so the majority of special walks and workshops will take place over those three days. However, we’ll also include at least one special walk each day throughout the week, depending on the number of booked passes (see below for details).

These walks are, of course, open to WALX Dorset members as well! The best part? If you’re on a WALX Dorset Direct Debit, you can attend all festival walks for FREE.

If you pay via Top Up or Pay-As-You-Go, you’ll need to purchase a day pass—but we’re offering a 50% discount per day using the code below.

How It Works

Booking for this event is slightly different from usual:

As this is a nationwide WALX event, participants need a day pass to access up to three walks per day. Individual walks are not charged separately. This makes event management smoother and ensures visitors can make the most of their Dorset experience.

Although it’s happening on your doorstep, we ask local members to follow the same system when joining the special walks. (You’ll benefit from discounted or free passes, depending on your membership.)

Once you’ve booked your pass, the walks available on that day will appear in your account calendar—just like your regular WALX sessions.

Most of your usual walks will go ahead as normal, so you’ll only need a festival pass if you’d like to join the additional walks and workshops shared with our visiting members.

How to Book

  • WALX Dorset Direct Debit Members:
    Your festival passes are FREE.
    Make sure you’re logged into WALX before booking. Select your days, add them to your basket, and check out at no cost.

  • Top Up / Pay-As-You-Go Members:
    Use the code dorsetdaypass to get 50% off your day pass. Each pass gives you access to up to three walks or workshops on that day.

Social Evening – Saturday 20th September

We’re also hosting a social evening with a live band on Saturday. Enjoy a delicious chef-cooked BBQ for just £15.
If you’re not booking a day pass but still want to join us, simply choose the Guest Supper Pass option when booking.
