Hi, I am Janine Lewis, owner and creator of WALX Kennet Valley. I am a Motivational Movement Coach and qualified outdoor fitness instructor specialising in Total Body WALX, adding Chi Movements for well-being, and Yoga stretches.
I have been an instructor since 2016 and have been Nordic walking since 2009, which has now evolved into Total Body WALX. For most of my adult life, I have raised over £80,000 for charity. Now, I have a solution so you can fundraise with minimal effort.
My fundraiser solution is to teach ten team members a 90-minute Power of Poles beginner session.
I can do two to three sessions in a day, so if you wish to organise a picnic, cafe or pub lunch, it would make a fun day out.
The recommended fee to charge is £25pp, including hiring the Velocity poles, which I provide. There must be a minimum of ten people. 100% of the profit goes to your chosen cause.
I deduct 20% to cover my expenses and a little extra for mileage if I have travelled 50 miles to cover my costs.
I have insurance, including public liability. I ensure people enjoy safe, effective outdoor exercise following Government guidelines. I only cancel if there is a risk of snow, ice, thunder or lightning, extreme heat, or an amber or red weather warning; we are primarily hardy outdoor folks!
Your new skills will be invaluable as you can walk more effortlessly with improved posture, working the core and stabilizing the body for better balance. You could also train for a challenge and continue raising more funds.
