In 2023  our group were lucky enough to visit the walkers from Nordic Walk n’Talk based in Bassano Del Grappa in April and October. We met their leader, Julie Frankland and some of the group at a WALX Purbeck festival back in 2021 and started to plan some visits. We had a wonderful time in the Veneto sampling some of their favourite walks including a day trip to Venice! Nordic Walking in Venice was amazing!

So this month we were excited to welcome the group to visit us here in Marlborough Downs to show them our favourite walks and special places. We showed them bluebells in West Woods, ancient monumnets in Avebury and a special tour of the Wilton Windmill followed by a traditional Sunday lunch at a local pub. They thoroughly enjoyed them selves and we look forward to many more reciprocal visits between our groups.
