It’s all hands to the deck at WALX HQ as we prepare to launch 3 more WALX Masters who will be starting their groups by delivering the bulk of the activities themselves with a vision to building a wider remit once they have got their feet in the mud!

Each of them has a different model due to the area they live in and their background skills. Part of the planning stage we work through with them is a detailed demographic profile and marketing plan. We want them to succeed from day one and we have the right programmes to help them to do just that!

Andrew will be building a model based more on the tourism demographic because he lives in a remote area with a stunning Forest which is a known visitor attraction. Andrew will provide regular wellness and nordic walking sessions to local in the small towns and villages, who have no access to health clubs, but also offer a unique mix of day trips and experiential WALX

Whilst Byron intends to make the most of the fact his Wife is a respected local Physio with an interest in walking for rehabilitation. They are both committed to developing a full WALX progamme longer term as they believe in the power of being physically active, but they want to focus on those who need it most initially.

Finally Lynda and her team will be launching in a crowded City location with a huge local demographic so her model will be based on regular sessions within 12 minute drive time for all demographics from Young Mum’s to the Active retired. Lynda has the licence for some significant local parks where she will offer a range of fitness solutions and create a social buzz too.

So, the moral of this tale is that WALX do not simply roll out the same old programme, we tailor it to the needs of the WALX Master and more importantly those whose lives they aim to change!
