Walk Description:

A beautiful place to `wake up the week` especially at this time of the year...

Walks are varied and wildlife is abundant. A moderate-speed Nordic walk for Gear 2 abilities.

This walk is suitable for Nordic walkers looking for a moderate GEAR 2 pace although the hills in the woodland will present physical challenge.

Come and enjoy walking in the local countryside, take in the views, fresh air and company of the group, whilst being active outdoors.

Please dress appropriately for the weather, and don’t forget water, waterproofs (if necessary), suncream, bug spray AND ASTHMA INHALER

We will set off promptly.

Please try to arrive 10mins early so you are ready to go.

Location Notes:

Meet in the Whitlingham BARN CAFE car park. Please be aware that you must drive PAST this large barn as you come down Whitlingham Lane and then turn in left. It is not the first car park that you meet on this lane. Postcode is NR14 8TS. There are toilets. Parking is £1.20 per hour unless you have a permit but there is also free parking along Whitlingham Lane before entering the park through the gate posts. I WILL MEET YOU UNDER THE BIG OAK TREE IN THE MIDDLE OF THE CAR PARK.
