In this free session, we'll discuss your fitness and health aims, and you'll get the chance to feel how WALX poles engage your whole body. You will feel taller, lighter on your feet and will walk faster and with more confidence.

This session is designed for all abilities. It is not a full workout but rather a chance to discover how WALX might just be the exercise for you.

Based at The Spaniards Inn and exploring the quieter areas of Hampstead Heath, WALX Hampstead offers a weekly programme of Nordic and fitness walking classes for health, fitness, strength, improved posture and sociality.

Our programme includes:

Total Body WALX - a walking class incorporating functional strength exercises and cardiovascular bursts for improved fitness Wellness WALX - a walking class incorporating gentle strength, balance and coordination exercises for improved posture, stability and exercise confidence Nordic WALX - using Total Body Walking poles, we turn a walk into a workout. Feel the improved posture and upper body exercise provided with effective pole use Explorer WALX - longer social walks further afield, exploring walking routes in and around London, and walking holidays.

Location Notes:

Meet at rear of car park. Free car parking on site - just enter your car registration inside the pub. If car park is full, there is free on-street car parking on surrounding roads. If travelling by public transport, Spaniards Inn is a 1-mile walk from Hampstead Underground Station. The 210 and 310 buses stop by the pub, and run from Archway tube station (12mins) or Golders Green tube station (7mins). Get in touch for more advice on location.
