Tips to help you get the most out of your walk

1 Suitable clothing and footwear - layeras are best

2 A small rucksac - so you can store extra layers easily

3 Light refreshments - water, fruit juice, cereall bar etc

4 Mobile phone for any last minute changes, also please check your emails on the morning of the walk.

5 Walk Leaders mobile number is 07718314966

6 Please contact me directly if you want to hire poles, £1 payable on the day of the walk.

Dogs - If you bring a dog it must be on a lead and under control at all times, I use a harness with mine and I am happy to offer advice on buying one. You must be able to help your dog over stiles etc.

Occasionally a walk will be completely unsuitable for dogs and this will be in the walk description if that is the case.

Whilst we do understand that sometimes it is not possible to make a walk / class, please be aware that we do operate a No refund policy if you give us less than 24 hours` notice. To see the full policy click HERE

Location Notes:

Parking The Community Centre now charges for parking. 1-2 Hours £1.00 2-3 Hours Parking £1.50 I'm not sure if the small car park on the left off Station Approach is now part of the pay and display, they have put a machine right next to it, but no extra signage. 1-2 Hours £1.00 2-3 Hours £1.50 And there is a big Pay and Display at The Ram's Head Inn which can be validated when the pub is open. 2 Hours £1.00 3 Hours £2.00 There is on road Parking nearby, check for restrictions. If paying for parking I'd suggest paying for up to 3hours to save worry from any potential delays during the walk.
