Walk Description:

A beautiful walk across Cranborne Chase from the village of Cranborne. Approx 5.5 miles in length.

Starting from the Garden centre the walk goes through the village and out into the countryside following

bridle ways and lanes. Paws on poles suggested.

The countryside is undulating and open with lovely views.

(In Spring hares are often seen in the fields.)

Circling back through woodland and over another field we are back in the the village before walking up 

to the garden centre. There is a vintage barn in the grounds along with a gift shop and cafe.

The giift shop is great for Christmas shopping.

The toilets are next to the cafe. 

The cafe is very popular and has a good selection of food including cake.

Please park at the top end of the carpark on the grass.

Expect mud for this walk and dress for the expected weather on the day. You will need water.
