Walk Description:

From one hour WALX in your local country park to a half day in the hills, our Explorer WALX capture the variety of scenery, themes and types of WALX that suit your lifestyle. If you love WALX to the pub or WALX with the dog or simply WALX in wild locations we have them all! Whether long, short, tough or gentle we welcome all ages and all levels.

This is a lovely scenic walk around Beccles Fen taking in the beautiful river Waveney and the wetlands of the marshes.  The walk is suitable for all abilities and is flat with a mixture of grass and firmer paths so whether you are just starting your WALX journey, returning after a break, or a hardened weekly walker, this walk is for you.   Beccles Fen hosts rare species of flora and fauna and is a great place to reconnect with nature as part of your week.  We will start and finish at the cafe on the Quay (where you can also find toilets).    You are asked to contact your WALX Guide by phone, leaving a voicemail or sending an SMS text to the number listed below, if you are likely to be delayed. Whilst we do understand that sometimes it is not possible to make a class, please be aware that we do operate a no refund policy if you give us less than 2 hours’ notice.     

Location Notes Parking is available in the Quay car park and costs £1 for two hours.
