Walk Description:

One of our longer/more challenging  Sunday walks, this is a very 'woody' walk.  Starting out from the Fountains Abbey Visitor Centre car park,  the walk follows the riverside path through Spa Gill Wood, and passes close to Aldfield before joining another riverside track through Galphay Wood. The walk returns to the starting point via Galphay Mill Bridge and Low Lindrick before picking up the Ripon Rowel and back to the car park (and refreshments at the Visitor Centre cafe?).

Park in car park A in the free car park at the visitor centre. Meet by the entrance gates to the car park. Nearest postcode, HG4 3DY
