Walk Description:

Join Emma for a Moderate Adventure Nordic Walk from Simpson, nr Caldecotte Lake

Pre Christmas lunch walk, this will be a walk suitable for ALL walkers, at a Gentle Moderate pace.

ADVENTURE pace: 4 km/2.5 miles p/hr

TERRAIN: Mostly tarmac paths, lakeside and canal side

DISTANCE: approx 4.5km

PARKING: We will use the Parks Trust Car Park opposite St Thomas Church on Simpson Road, Simpson. Please note there is a height restriction barrier on this car park (2.1mtrs).

The pre-lunch 1hr walk will be from this car park and you can then leave your car here and walk along to THE PLOUGH pub for our Christmas lunch or drive to the pub and use their car park behind the pub. There is on street parking around the pub but it is just a short walk from the walk car park.

Please bring a change of shoes so we don't get the pub muddy - thank you.

CANCELLATIONS

You are free to cancel your booking using the booking system up to the start time of the walk.

Please bear in mind that the walk leader may have already left home and may not pick up a late cancellation in a timely manner.

If you are cancelling within an hour of the walk, please try to contact the walk leader personally to let them know you are not attending.
