Walk Description:

This is a beautiful woody walk across the cricket pitch and into Hollands Wood campsite (not in use in the winter!).  You`ll enjoy lovely views across the Balmer Lawn with its abundance of ponies, cattle and pigs at the right time of year!  It`s flat and good underfoot, although there are one or two muddy bits at the beginning! 

Location Notes:

Correct W3W tag is major.admits.recap. Park in Forestry Commission Balmer Lawn car park. Meet by the cricket pavilion. If in the summer months this car park is full, please continue up the road and take the track on your left to Tilery Road car park which is a 5 minute walk away.
