Walk Description:
This beautiful location has a variety of walks - all through a lovely part of the Forest with great views, rivers, cycle tracks, grass rides and some open heathland, so we have a choice depending on the conditions. Some will include a look at the Portuguese Fireplace, others may be a little longer than usual and may go through a few muddy patches.
Location Notes:
Forestry England Car Park with toilets and free parking. Please look at map. If you follow sat nav, it will take you to the wrong place - Beachern Wood car park. If you end up here, come out of the car park, turn right and Whitefield Moor is the next car park on your right.
