Brassington / Carsington Two-Hour Saturday Walk (instead of Bennerly Viaduct walk) Included in the Direct Debit payment plan
Starting from Wirksworth Dale in Brassington, this circular walk heads up onto the uplands above Carsington, offering wide, open stretches with superb views across the surrounding landscape. The route passes through areas rich in historic interest, including traces of old mining activity and ancient field boundaries that reveal the area’s long history of human settlement.
A moderate walk, it features a mix of lanes, field paths, and moorland, rewarding walkers with panoramic views over Carsington Water and the rolling Derbyshire countryside.
