Walk Description:
Harrow Striders 2024 Challenge is to complete the Capital Ring Walk by breaking it down into sections which we will walk once a month during the year. The sections of the path have been broken down into 4 to 7.5 miles. Each walk will begin and end at a London Underground, Overground or Southern Railway Station. Walkers should bring a packed lunch and water and there will be the opportunity to have refreshments at the end of the walk at a cafe / pub for those who would like to join Sue. The walks will take most of the day and we will usually meet at 11.00am at the designated station and we will be back in Harrow between 3 and 5pm depending on the length of the walk that day.
Location Notes:
Lancaster Gate is on the Central Line. Note there is a lift from the platform to street level. We will begin the walk across the road at entrance to Kensington Gardens where there are toilets.
