Walk Description:

Get your fitness back Join us for an explorer walk where easy paths along the Manifold or through fields are combined with steep up/down hill paths   Following the ‘Power of Poles intro Course’, this walk provides you with an opportunity to increase your speed, while maintaining the proper technique.  

This walk is ideal for those who want to improve their fitness and health, whilst being outdoors in a beautiful setting  Using gears 2 and sometimes 3  covering up to 4 miles

Tearoom is open, toilets available

From one hour WALX in your local country park to a half day in the hills, our Explorer WALX capture the variety of scenery, themes and types of WALX that suit your lifestyle. If you love WALX to the pub or WALX with the dog or simply WALX in wild locations we have them all! Whether long, short, tough or gentle we welcome all ages and all levels.

Location Notes:

Ilam Park car park is free for National Trust members. Otherwise, the charge is £5 for up to 4hrs parking, £7 for over 4hrs.
