Walk Description:

Our social Explorer WALX explore the beautiful areas around Hertford and its surrounding towns and villages.

This 4-mile walk along Cole Green Way and past Grotto Wood includes a mixture of terrains, woodland walks and a few moderate inclines.

Allow 1.5 hours for this walk.  A walking speed of around 3mph can be expected.

Walkers are requested to arrive at the venue 10 minutes before the start time to allow for parking, shoe change, pole adjustment etc, so that the walk can start promptly at the time indicated.

Please ensure your PARQ is up to date and notify us if you have any change to your physical or mental wellbeing. This should include any surgery, injuries or accidents.

 

 

 

 

 

Location Notes:

Park in the car park of Cole Green Way Picnic Area, just past the Cowper Arms pub. There are no toilet or refreshment facilities at this location.
