The area is mostly flat around the lake, but it does have a trim trail to utilise for various exercises. It takes in sections of the Grand Union Canal; it is an ideal walk to practice techniques and drills.  There is plenty of wildlife to see all year round on the canal.

Location Notes:

This walk, is in tranquil countryside with open wide-ranging vistas with some excellent panoramic views. The walk starts at the car park at Ivinghoe Beacon (which is a free car park), use this link to navigate there https://w3w.co/momentous.gilding.user . This is a challenging walk with some steep climbs. The walk starts with one loop up Ivinghoe beacon, then down a gentler slope down the other side. We then Carry on across a path through a field with wide ranging views, we then walk towards the woods. Then on to a moderate climb using steps through the woods and follow parallel to the road through the woods and back along to the carpark.
