Walk Description:
This walk starts at The Globe Inn Public House on the canal in Leighton Buzzard LU7 2TA. We walk out behind the pub through a quiet meadow which meets up with a metal track. We head north to a cattle grid where we turn left and follow the track until we meet the road, then turn right through a wooded area. It then crosses over the road up into Rushmere Country Park walking on the Greensand Way public footpath, mainly walking through woods and open meadows also bypassing two water features. It is a circular walk ending back at the pub. It is suitable for Adventure walkers. This walk can be strenuous and it is 12km in length.
Location Notes:
Drive to the very end of Mentmore Road, past the school and leisure centre, the car park is on the left.
