Walk Description:

These sessions provide you with the opportunity to experience the healing qualities of being out in Nature, for both your physical and mental wellbeing. I have been trained to deliver these sessions in the Shinrin Yoku tradition of forest bathing, and use a variety of ways to help you to unwind from the stresses and strains of modern life.

These immersion in nature sessions will combine a gentle, mindful walk in the grounds and/or deer park with more static activities in quieter areas of the grounds, with a different focus each time. This session will focus on Autumn.

No need for poles on these walks, although you are welcome to use them if you wish.

Do come prepared for the weather, however. If sunny, ensure that you have adequate sun protection, and water to prevent dehydration. In cool weather, do ensure that you have sufficient clothing as we will be still for at least some parts of the session, and you won't want to be cold. If wet, do ensure that you have waterproofs. Be prepared to sit down during the sessions. This may be on benches, logs, or the ground. You may wish to bring a sit mat if you have one.

Please be respectful of others during these sessions. There will be opportunities to talk, but they are largely quiet sessions to allow you to immerse yourselves in the experiences of being in nature.
