New Years Eve Flask Nordic Walx - West Woods
Its New YEars Eve and time to have a good romp across one of our favourite places to walk to end 2025! - this is up to 2 hours and 5 miles - bring your own flask for a midwalk coffee
Todays walk: West Woods - always a favourite - a 5 miler where we walk through the forest trails and then enjoy a mid walk break at the picnic area in the middle of the woods. Thinking hot chocolate and Christmas leftovers before the new year rings in!
Pace & Intensity: Fairly moderate paced walk suitable for most abilities. 4.5 miles.
Location: West Woods main car park
Notes: Bring some snacks and a hot drink and if weather permits we will have a mid walk break at the centre of the woods picnic area.
Location Notes:
West Woods is just outside Marlborough. Approximately two miles outside Marlborough take a left turn signed Clatford. Drive up to the crossroads and straight over. About one and a half miles along this road the woods and car park are sign posted on the right.
